I agree with this. Please respect my opinion.
Your opinion is factually incorrect. Abortion does nothing to children. Other than allows people to take care of the children they already have, or have children when they’re ready and able, or have their parents not die of an unsafe and illegal abortion and leave them alone. It doesn’t put more children into foster homes or in ‘line’ to possibly never get adopted.
Abortion does not kill children.
When I terminated my pregnancy at eleven weeks, seventeen years ago, I was not undergoing a procedure or removing some tissue; I was euthanizing my baby because my body was too unhealthy to sustain a pregnancy safely, and because I was impoverished, putting myself through college, and saw no reason to endure an extremely high risk pregnancy when I did not personally know anyone who wanted to adopt my baby and who I could trust to not abuse the child the way I had been abused. So yes, in my case, abortion killed a child. I am, furthermore, the one who made the decision, and the one who is responsible. After I became a mother of four children I started experiencing terrible grief around the date I went to the clinic for the suction aspiration (stupid me, to schedule a holiday I’d remember, like summer solstice - usually I’m bad with dates) and I think it’s because becoming a mother made me aware that I had never mourned the child I lost, and part of me had in fact grown deeply attached to my unborn child, never mind how impossible continuing the pregnancy probably would have been.
Please don’t blow off the pain of those women who do grieve after their abortions. We all experience things differently. I’ve known a few women who didn’t experience any sadness or emotional trauma at all, and I’ve known women who, like me, still hurt years and years after the event.
That said, signs that say “ABORTION KILLS CHILDREN” and “ABORTION STILLS A BEATING HEART” convince nobody to change her mind about terminating her pregnancy. They’re mostly there to rally the cultural warriors - the politicians who make laws, the angry voters who write letters to pressure the politicians. I’d like to see more pro-choice billboards.
This is important and I was in the wrong for being so absolute. I’m so sorry. I believe it should be completely up to the pregnant person to decide ‘what it is’, in terms of what their abortion means to them, how they felt about it, if it was their baby if it was nothing.
Not everyone wants their abortion, just like your case, and people definitely regret and grieve for their loss.
Again, I’m very sorry.

This is insensitive and hurtful. Not only to people who have had abortions, but to people who have had miscarriages, as well. Also, it is simply NOT TRUE.
Abortion makes you exactly unpregnant and posting things like this makes you exactly a horrible person.
No, because there is a safe medical procedure that doesn’t involve shooting people in the stomach. It’s actually one of the SAFEST, too!
In addition an abortion this late would probably only be done to save the person’s life(not with a gun, still)
And also, I’ve seen and responded to this picture MANY times, do fetuses just grow out of the side of the wall? What is this? Where is the pregnant person?

Yep, born babies need someone to take care of them. I have no clue what this is doing in the abortion tag, though.

Here’s my view on abortion.
There are two situations I want you to consider. Situation A, and Situation B. In both cases, Woman A and B are pregnant with normal babies. Both babies are the same age pregnancy wise.
Situation A: The Abortion
6 weeks from her due date Woman A decides she doesn’t want her baby and has an abortion. A doctor agrees to perform a late-term abortion. The doctor’s assistant refuses to help perform an abortion on such a large baby, but can do nothing to stop it. Baby A’s body is delivered, and while only the head is still in the birth canal, the back of the skull is pierced with a sharp instrument, and the brain is vacuumed out, leaving the now dead Baby A to be completely delivered as an aborted fetus.
The baby is killed and no one is blamed for the death. No one is arrested.
Situation B: The Infanticide
6 weeks from her due date Woman B has complications and is induced early. She decides caring for a premature baby would be too hard, and asks a nurse to ”let” the baby suffocate in it’s blanket. The nurse refuses, so the mother asks the doctor. He agrees, and smothers the baby. The nurse calls the police after discovering the baby.
The baby is killed and both Woman B and the doctor are blamed for the death. They are both arrested.
Now consider this:
What was the difference between those two situations? What made one legal and the other illegal?
Only about 5 inches of space.
I like to reblog the most ridiculous anti-choice posts that I can find. This one is probably only under those fetus poems.
